Turn the Apple logo into a button!
Did you know you could turn the Apple logo on the back of your iPhone into a button? This little known feature is one of my favorite features hidden in Apple's iOS update. You can double-tap or triple-tap the icon to make it lock your screen, take you to your home screen, navigate to the notification center, activate Siri or mute your music. Here are step by step instructions on how to do it:
Step 1: Click "Settings"
Step 2: Click "Accessibility"
Step 3: Click "Touch"
Step 4: Scroll to the very bottom and click "Back Tap Off" to activate the button
Step 5: Choose either "Double Tap" or "Triple Tap" (This will determine if you have to tap the Apple logo twice or three times when you want to use the button.)
Step 6: Choose the action you would like the Apple button to use. For example, select "Home" if you would like your home screen to appear when you tap the Apple logo or "Siri" if you would like it to activate Siri.
That's it! Once you select what you would like the button to do, close out of "Settings" and double-tap or triple-tap the Apple logo on the back of your iPhone for the new button functionality to be activated!
